STARPOWER-T8 and T9 series arc power supplies are mainly used for multi arc ion plating, metal plasma sources, arc plasma sources, and arcs in magnetic filtering arc ion coating processes. The arc power supply operates in high-frequency conversion mode, with DC output. The power supply current is adjusted by changing the pulse width of the high-frequency conversion. The power supply has load compensation circuit, arc stabilization circuit, and protection circuit for over temperature and over-current, with steep voltage drop characteristics and good load characteristics.
